Given a switch is likely ...

Here's my idea of what our uniforms should look like next year:

LOVE the whites. Not so sure about that third. But we have no idea what the new thirds will look like at all. So let the speculation begin!

Will they go more modern now that they will have a more "retro" home/road set?

Will they be so predictable as to just put the sword-through-B logo on the front?

Will they just jump on the bandwagon like Florida and rip off Pittsburgh, and more blatantly, St. Louis?

Or maybe introduce a gold jersey for the first time in team history? That would have to be very well executed, seeing as the only good example of a yellow jersey in the NHL I can think of is Boston's Winter Classic jersey, which is fantastic. But other examples, like Boston's old yellow one, and *ugh* Nashville's gold one, are horrible.

Honestly, I think I might want to see an alternate white jersey!

Hey Derek! Thanks for posting! I frequently visit NYC and really love it there. Do you have any Buffalo ties?

I don't think they should use a wordmark...like all the other teams are starting to do for their thirds...

I don't like the third suggested here. It's like a blue version of the red third from a couple of years ago. I agree with Drew, a white third would be awesome. Maybe it could have more yellow(gold) trim.

I'd like to see thenm do something with the gold as a thrid jersey, but they may not show the new jerseys till june or july so theres plenty of time to speculate.

Jims (not sure if they are the same Jim): that is a re-colored version of the old red third (though, I need to change it from "SABRES" to "BUFFALO" to make it correct.) It was a very popular jersey/logo. However, I believe that they said it would be something completely new, so it is an unlikely choice anyway. I have a lot of other ideas.

Gold would be interesting, but hard to pull off. Would they end up like Boston's or Nashville's?
