Another Third Jersey Fan Design

Here's a fan-created design for a third jersey I saw yesterday. I'm on the fence about it - some moments I like it and others I don't. What do you guys think?

What bugs me is how dissident the crossed sabers look as opposed to the rest of the jersey. Otherwise, it doesn't really offend my sensibilities. I just...don't like it sometimes, can't figure out why.

I don't like it. The logo is a nice spin, but the colors are all screwy. Make the whole thing navy and I'm in.

I would like it more if the crossed sabres were more bolder, so that they would be more noticeable.

The ugly combo of royal and navy (with gold accents) looks far too much like the Blues' Home unis.

The two blues contrast heavily. Not feeling it. Also, the swords require some redesigning to work on their own.

The patch should be "1970 - 2010"

Royal and Navy are tough to pull off; just ask the Bills. The Blues do it and it looks ... meh. For some reason, the more yellow/gold with it, the worse the combo looks, too (compare the front of the Blues' homes versus the back with the numbers.)

The Pathers and Pittsburgh have lighter blues with Navy in their thirds, and they both look decent. Royal is just not different enough. Remember the thirds in 2006-07? Nice jerseys, but always looked a little strange with the navy pants and helmets.
