This brings up an interesting question: what will happen to this site/blog in September? Sure, we'll have some posts about the new home and third jerseys, but what then? If the slug is really dead - please, please, please say it's true - what is our purpose?
Well, we give the blog a proper funeral, concluded with a toast that the Slug is forever gone?
I still think a Slug burning bonfire/funeral is in order for this summer. Anyone care to join me?

I'm down anytime this summer. Not sure where we could do it, but I think we could make it a public event and have some fun. Beers and Sahlen's for all!
I think it'd be a fantastic idea. Maybe the day before the Puck Drop 2010 event where the Sabres are likely to unveil the new threads.
Is this something we might want to pursue getting sponsors to help with supplying Sahlen's hot dogs and Labatt Blue?
